Regular Hours :
M-F 8:00am to 4:30pm
Field technicians follow scheduled routes and show up in our clients' homes to inspect, diagnose, service and repair common household appliances.
Position Snapshot:
• Full-time, Monday–Friday 8 AM – 4:30 PM
• Local field service across La Plata County (81301 & 81303)
Core Responsibilities:
1. Drive to customer sites, diagnose mechanical, electrical and refrigeration faults in common home appliances (washers, dryers, ranges, refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves).
2. Reference technical manuals and schematics to perform accurate repairs or part replacements.
3. Verify safe operation after service; document work, parts used and time on site.
4. Explain findings, costs and preventive-maintenance tips to customers in clear, friendly language.
5. Maintain clean, stocked service vehicle and follow company safety, inventory handling procedures.
6. Obtain signatures and update dispatch software before leaving site.
7. Attend periodic manufacturer and in-house training to stay current on new models and repair techniques.
Must-Have Qualifications:
• High-school diploma or GED
• Valid Colorado driver’s license with clean record
• Basic hand/power-tool proficiency and ability to lift 50 lbs safely

• Strong troubleshooting logic and steady hands
• Customer-first communication; able to translate tech talk into plain English
• Self-direction—plan routes, manage parts and meet daily schedule without micromanagement
• Detail orientation for paperwork, warranty tags and safety compliance
• Professionalism—punctual, hygienic, tidy, honest
Work Environment:
Indoor/outdoor residential settings; kneeling, crouching and occasional crawl-space access; exposure to electrical current, sharp edges and moving parts (PPE provided).
